Description

A native of Grand Forks, J.F.T. (James Francis Thaddeus) O'Connor graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1907 and 1908. He served as the Comptroller of the Currency in the United States Department of the Treasury from 1933 to 1938 and as a District Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California from 1940 until 1949.
