Ken Greywind, of Devils Lake, ND, received his MFA from the University of North Dakota. His art has been displayed in numerous exhibitions, including his solo show at the Sioux Indian Museum in Rapid City, SD. He was recognized for his painted murals at Four Winds High School in Fort Totten, and for teaching at Cankdeska Cikana (Little Hoop) Community College.
Greywind's work combines traditional subjects and modern aesthetics, perhaps alluding to the continuing importance of Native heritage in the contemporary world.
