Description

Cartoon depicts the "Minn DFL" donkey watching "Party Unity" crumble. Minnesota Lieutenant Governor A. M. "Sandy" Keith won the DFL endorsement for governor. Governor Karl Rolvaag ran on the independent ticket in the primary and defeated Keith. Rolvaag will run as the DFL nominee for Governor in the November 8, 1966 election. Hubert H. Humphrey backed Keith and later congratulated Rolvaag.
