Description
This letter dated May 10, 1956, from Assistant Secretary of the United States (US) Department of the Interior Wesley D'Ewart to US Senator William Langer, clarifies information about US Senate Bill 2151 and the segregation of funds held in trust for the Three Affiliated Tribes. D'Ewart informs Langer that any individual per capita payments need to be approved by the Tribal Council before the Interior will consider a distribution.
