Description
This letter dated February 17, 1955, from United States (US) Senator William Langer to Executive Director of North Dakota Hospital Service Donald E. Eagles marks the receipt of Eagles' correspondence and states that Eagles' idea of “taking care of the three affiliated tribes at Fort Berthold” is intriguing and interesting and “might work not out only at Fort Berthold, but also at Fort Totten, Belcourt, and Fort Yates.” Langer writes that he will take the matter up with those in authority and that Eagles will hear from him shortly.
The letter is marked with the handwritten annotation “Fort Berthold.”
