Description

This letter dated July 22, 1955, from United States (US) Senator William Langer to Commissioner Glenn Emmons of the US Bureau of Indian Affairs, encloses a letter from Three Affiliated Tribes Tribal Chairperson Martin Cross which includes a resolution from the tribal council endorsing Frank Gordon as the new superintendent of the Fort Berthod Reservation. Langer asks Emmons for any information he may have about the selection of the new superintendent for the agency. Cross's letter and the resolution are not included with this document.
