Letter dated July 26, 1949 from Lieutenant General C.W. Huebner, Commanding General of U.S. Army, Europ, to Senator William Langer in reply to Langer's Letter of June 24 regarding Dr. Martin Sandberger, who had been sentenced to death by the Nuremberg Tribunal II in Case No. 9, the Einsatzgruppen Case.
This letter acknowledges receipt of a letter from Langer dated June 24, 1949. Lieutenant General Huebner also references a letter written to Langer dated June 27, 1949. Additional letters from Langer are referenced dated May 25 and June 1, 1949. Huebner states that he has forwarded the referenced documents to the Legal Division, U.S. Office of Military Government for consideration in the final review of the case.
