Artist Bio
Born in 1967 in Ship Rock, New Mexico, Shannon D. Fox is of Sahnish (Arikara) and Santee Sioux heritage. He received his BFA (1996) and MFA (1999) degrees at the University of North Dakota, where he was the first student to receive a graduate degree in Visual Arts with an emphasis in Mixed Media.
After opening his own company, 3-Foxx Productions (now White Pipe), he established a graphic arts program at Fort Berthold Community College, where he currently teaches classes and serves on the Board of the North Dakota Council on the Arts.
