After receiving her Associate of Science in Business from Sitting Bull College, Donna Brown became a three-time graduate of the University of North Dakota. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1991, followed by her Master of Arts in Counseling in 1995. Donna returned to UND and received her doctorate degree in educational leadership in 2002.
She has led an impressive career in higher education in a variety of student services roles. While at UND, Donna co-directed the Campus Suicide Prevention Program, coordinated the Indians Into Medicine Program (INMED), and was Assistant Director of American Indian Student Services. In 2007, she joined Minnesota State University, Moorhead in Counseling and Student Affairs, and eventually became the Associate Vice President for Diversity, Inclusion and Affirmative Action.
Donna Brown currently serves as the Chief Diversity Officer at Minnesota State University, Moorhead.
