Abstract
Oral history interview with Dan Walker of the the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. A member of the 458th Bomber Group, Walker was shot down over Germany in 1944 and was captured by the German Army. He was imprisoned at Stalag Luft 4 and was liberated by the Russian Army in 1945.
Daniel Greenwood Walker was born in Fargo, North Dakota, on 13 November 1921. He died on 28 August 2003 in Mayville, North Dakota.
