William T. Wiley is an American artist who was born in 1937 in Bedford, Indiana. He attended the California School of Fine Arts, and obtained his BFA in 1960 and his MFA in 1962. He is best known for his acrylic paintings that are combined with colored pencil drawings or sketches and written phrases. Works by William T. Wiley can be found in the permanent collections of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Whitney Museum of American Art and several other collections internationally.
