Artist Bio
Michael S. Bell is a retired American artist who specialized in printmaking and painting. He studied at the California Institute of the Arts and obtained a BFA in 1971, and then went on to study at the University of Kentucky under Wendell Berry, and received his MFA in the fine arts in 1972. Bell is best known for his work as a former curator for several museums in the San Francisco and Los Angeles area.
