Artist Bio
Jeffrey Lew was born in 1946 in New York City, NY and is currently based out of Florida. Lew did not receive professional art training, instead he is self taught claiming a "Street Wise" education. He is best known for his roll as a co-founder of 112 Greene Street Gallery, an experimental artist-run gallery in SoHo in the early 1970's which was popular with the Fluxus artists at the time. Lew currently specializes in photography, drawing painting and sculpting. Jeffery Lew has work in the permanent collections of the Kent Kleinman Collection, the Sidney Lewis Collection, and many others.
