Description
The 164th Infantry Regiment baseball team poses for a photograph in the summer of 1941. Many of the army units training at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana, during that year formed their own sports teams. (Information taken from: They Were Ready: the 164th Infantry in the Pacific War, 1942-1945 by Terry L. Shoptaugh, 2010. pages 60-61).
