    "Color Guard Then - Members of the 164th Infantry Regiment (Rifle), Americal Division Color Guard during World War II are, from left: Staff Sgt. James M. Fenelon (Devils Lake, N.D.), Cpl. Leonard Betchel (Cavalier, N.D.), Staff Sgt. Clifford Ottinger (Jamestown, N.D.) and Cpl. Walter Ensminger (Manango, N.D.) The coconut log on the right was the railing which enclosed the cemetery on Guadalcanal. Marines, Army, U.S. Navy and Air Force soldiers killed in the battle of Guadalcanal were buried in this cemetery." (from back of photograph)
