Abstract
Dental student rotations connect fourth-year dental students from regional dental schools with North Dakota clinical sites, providing hands-on training while increasing access to care for Medicaid and underserved patients, and promoting dental careers in the state. Rotations range from 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the educational program and clinical site. Over nearly a decade, 73 students provided care for thousands of patients through dental exams, restorative treatment, preventive services, extractions, and school-based sealant programs.
