Anna Mae Hughes Fan Collection
The University of North Dakota possesses an unusual and interesting collection of hand held fans, some of which are decorative and some of which are utilitarian as well as decorative. They were donated by the late Anna Mae Hughes (nee Ankenmann), who collected the fans during her travels.
