Description
Looking north, the lower left of the image shows the intersection of North 3rd Street and 7th Avenue North. Toward the center from there is the AGSCO Inc. building. Signs on its exterior read "For the thrifty farmer" and "Seeds, fertilizer, steel bldgs." To its upper left is the Grand Forks Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Beyond that the Butler Machinery Company can be seen along 9th Ave North. To the right of AGSCO is a railroad crossing on Lewis Blvd, with NoDak Sales (beer distributor) across the tracks. Further up along Lewis is the St. Anne's Guest Home complex, near the ramp to the John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge on Gateway. The top portion of the photo features the treetops and rooflines of the Riverside residential neighborhood.
