Description
In this undated photo, two men in suits and hats are seated on stools at the soda fountain counter. The soda jerk stands behind them, dressed in a white shirt with a high collar. On the wall are the spigots, flavorings, and signage with prices and advertisements. Menu items include root beer, ice cream shakes and sundaes.

The photograph was taken around 1910. Lendrick McNeil (1853-1929) was a confectioner at 116 South Third Street, the Metropolitan Opera House building.
