Description
Photograph taken on June 25,1983 at "Summerthing '83" in Riverside Park. Attendees are scattered around resting on blankets, chairs, and bleachers watching activities going on around them. . Some of the people on the ground appear to be sitting under makeshift tents. Some people are also sitting under the trees and their shade around the edge of the park. In between the two groups of people is a group of men playing volleyball with most of them shirtless. From the photo there doesn't appear to be anyone really watching them play.
Each weekend had a different theme and was hosted at three separate parks in Grand Forks. This event was put on through the Grand Forks Park District.
