Description

Black and white photograph in 1964 (date on back of photo) of a family of four shopping in an aisle of a unknown grocery store. The family appears to be looking at cereals like Rice Krispies, Cheerios, and Corn Flakes which are shown on left side of aisle. On the right side of aisle various brands of crackers with well known names like Krispy and Premium saltine crackers and other line the shelves.

The family is dressed in attire that was commonly seen during the mid Twentieth Century. The father is wearing a fedora, a suit and galoshes. The mother or woman wears a petticoat with fur on collar, a skirt or dress and  heals. The children have on heavy coats, the boy with a stocking cap and galoshes while the girl has no hat on and is wearing dress shoes.
