Description
Caption included with photo, "This view shows dirt fill work around the edges of the park as the dike project rounds the corner from Lewis Blvd. onto Park Ave. Dirt hauler roll up to the dike area in an almost continuous stream, empty their loads and the heavy packing machines then pack down the dirt." This work was being done within Riverside Park and a very small area of Riverside Pool and it's fence can be seen in the background.
