Description
"The Antler's Hotel in the Bartholomew Block was one of several large hotels that were built in the 1890s. Situated to the south and across the street from the Dacotah, Third Street at Alpha (First Avenue North) was known as 'hotel corner.' Renamed the Frederick after the turn of the century, it burned in 1944 and was replaced by a parking lot." (from Grand Forks: A Pictorial History page 42)
