Photograph of the 3-story Redwing's Uptown Recreation Centre with Bowling and Uptown Bar in 1974, located at 112-16 S 3rd Street.
A Vertical sign is placed on center of building, in front of second and third floor reads BOWLING/BAR & CAFE. Centered and directly below vertical sign is a horizontal sign right between first and second floor is a sign that reads REDWING'S. Below Redwing's sign is UPTOWN RECREATION on an arched sign with a CENTER sign connecting the bottoms of the arch. There is a curved arrow sign on the right side of the front of building that reads EAT with a clock just above and slightly to the right. There is also a horizontal sign on the front left side of building that says UPTOWN BAR. A fire escape can be seen attached to the right side of the building.
Three cars are parted right in front of building and one person on the sidewalk. A railroad track runs along the northeast side of building. Apartments may have been leased on the top two floors.
