Description
Workers in the Palace Grocery store pose for a photograph. The store was located at 2 South 3rd Street in the Young Building. The Trepanier Brothers pharmacy was located next door and their employees also posed for the photograph. A horse drawn carriage is located to the right of the grocery store.
A sign that reads "Geo. J. Hankey" is located above the pharmacy entrance. George Johann Hankey was considered a pioneer grocer of Grand Forks.
