Tanrtric Buddhist gilt-bronze mounted conch shell. There are small round red colored stones embedded around the edges of the bronze but most are missing. Bronze is detailed with 2 fish and several other intricate large designs that are all surrounded by a simpler design. There are two separate pieces of bronze and a hanging hook on the narrow end on the conch. Inscription on inside of curved bronze.

Comes with text panel that says:

MONGOLIAN HORN

ADORNED WITH CARVED BRASS, THIS CONCH SHELL WAS BLOWN BY MONKS OR LAMAS.
