Artist Bio

Sadanobu Hasegawa III was the third in a long line of printmakers in his family in Japan. He is known for adapting the art of Japanese printmaking to the 20th century. He particularly catered to western markets and created overly saturated scenes that created a dreamlike depiction of Japanese culture.
