UND's memorable season comes to an end in Philly

Frozen Four: Thursday, April 10, 7:30 p.m. CST / Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, Pa.

UND's men's hockey team will take on long-time rival Minnesota in the semifinal of the NCAA Frozen Four in Philadelphia, Pa. Union will face off against Boston College at 5 p.m. CST. The winners of each game will advance to the national championship game on Saturday night.

UND is making its 20th NCAA Frozen Four appearance in program history, which trails only Boston College (24), Michigan (24), Boston University (21) and Minnesota (21).

UND has won seven national titles (1959, 1963, 1980, 1982, 1987, 1997, 2000), tied with Denver for second-most in the NCAA behind only by Michigan's nine.

The game can be watched live on ESPN2, which is also available on DirecTV (channel 209) and DISH Network (channel 144). John Buccigross and Barry Melrose call the action, with Quint Kessenich serving as sideline reporter.

The game can be heard in Grand Forks on 96.1 FM (The Fox) and on stations across the UND Hockey Radio Network. Veteran broadcaster Tim Hennessy, in his 35th season as the voice of UND men's hockey, calls the action while Steve Olson provides analysis.
