Abstract
Welcome back spring 2014 students
As you kick off a new semester at the University of North Dakota, please follow this checklist to be sure your semester gets off to the right start.
- Check important dates and deadlines Be sure you are aware of all important dates and deadlines, including the applicable refund schedules pertaining to dropping a course(s) or withdrawing from UND.
- Obtain all required vaccinations A meningitis vaccine is required if you are under 21 years old, and you have not already had a meningitis vaccine, and you are living in campus housing. Required Vaccinations
- Complete all necessary financial transactions via Campus Connection - Pay your spring 2014 Campus Connection charges by January 13.- Ensure your financial aid posts to your Campus Connection in a timely manner.- Verify your tuition rate is correct.- Complete the Financial Obligation Agreement.- Authorize your family members to be "Authorized Users" to your account.- Submit an electronic financial FERPA privacy release form for release of financial information.
- Choose your refund preference, using the Refund Choice Card. Do not throw away your refund choice card. The Refund Choice Card is needed to select your preference for receiving excess financial aid and other funds.
- Notify Student Financial Aid about scholarships you will be receiving from outside of UND Scholarship checks received directly by the student should be delivered to Student Financial Aid.
- Check UND email weekly UND email should be checked at least weekly to ensure all important notices are received.
- Obtain your UCard Visit the U Card Office in the Memorial Union lower level, Room 3 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday – Friday.
