Abstract
'My Generation’ cast and crew headed for Kennedy Center Festival
The cast and crew of the Department of Theatre Arts' production of My Generation will be at the Region V Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) Jan. 20-25 in Lincoln, Neb.
The cast reprised their roles Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Chester Fritz Auditorium in a public rehearsal before the festival. The reproduction at the fritz also served as a fund-raiser for the festival.
My Generation originally was performed in April at the Burtness Theatre. UND recently received an invite to bring the production to the KCACTF, a national theatre education program that aims to identify and promote quality in college-level theatre productions. The invitation to perform at the Region V festival recognized, rewards and celebrates the exemplary work of the Department of Theatre Arts at UND.
Video product of the UND Marketing Group: shot by Joshua Coan and Sara Porter, and edited by Tim DeBolt. Check UND.edu for full show later this week.
The KCACTF festival runs Jan. 20-25, 2013.
The public is encouraged to show its support for the Department of Theatre Arts at the January performance.
