UND vs. MSU in Flood Fight 2011 exhibition game

Virtual tickets for the ‘Flood Fight 2011’ men’s basketball game between UND and Minot State in Minot are now on sale online at www.undsports.com.

The game will take place on Sunday, Oct. 30 at the MSU Dome on the campus of Minot State University and will be televised regionally on Midco Sports Network.

The virtual ticket is not an actual ticket to the game, but purchase of the virtual ticket gives Fighting Sioux fans across the country and around the world the opportunity to participate in the fundraising basketball game even if they cannot attend the actual game.

Proceeds from the purchase of the $10 virtual ticket will go to the Minot Area Community Foundation.

The basketball game is the centerpiece of a month-long fundraising effort to help people affected by record flooding in and around Minot this past summer. Both universities plan to donate all ticket, program and concessions sales to the MACF.

Actual game tickets are available by contacting the Minot State University Ticket Office at 701-858-3041 or online at msubeavers.com. Tickets will also be available at the door the day of the event. Prices for the game are $5 for adults and $2 for students with free admission to all MSU and UND students with valid student ID.
