From James Carley's notes: Stoneware storage pot 10 1/2" high. Good shape with a nice collar. The glaze is yellowish with speckles and variations toward brown; inside is a brown slip which did not completely cover when the piece was glazed. Inverted pear shape. There is some incision on the shoulder, perhaps 22. Purchased West Jefferson, Ohio. Came from a Columbus collector.
