Additional Information
From James Carley's notes: Redware pitchers with tin mounts, 8 1/2 and 6" high. The glaze inside is clear and on the outside glossy brown. Speckled. The base and rim are unglazed. There are a few chips, one on the larger caused by a white impurity in the body. The mounts were planned for; the pots were probably made with a jolly. The tin has been painted black. Purchased Indianapolis antique show. The dealer, Jack Hamman guesses they are New England.
