From James Carley's notes: Cylindrical crock of stoneware, 9" high. Tan salt glaze. Dark brown slip on the interior. A kiln drop on the rib. Two incised lines under the rim. Mark: A stylish 2, underlined 5 times, in dark blue which did not cover evenly. Purchased Foutnaintown. Came from Indiana.
