From James Carley's notes: Stoneware salt glaze gallon jug. 11 1/2 " height, with a nice neck, and generally well potted. Mark: Impressed F. B. NORTON SONS WORCESTER MASS. Inside is brown. Purchased in southern Vermont. It had been carefully corked with paper around the cork to make it fit tight, and was clean inside. But today I smell cider. See image for additional details.
