Additional Information

From James Carley's notes: Rounded stoneware jar 5" tall. The body seems to be redish. Outside a very thin mustardy glaze. Inside brown slip. The cover is gloss, yellowish speckled with brown-bare on top of the flat knot and on the bottom. This reputed to be Perrysville pottery! Mrs. Bandy bought it from a woman ... "who probably bought it from the Rabb family - who knew Perrysville. Distinct rounded collar. Pur. Cayuga, Indiana.
