From James Carley's notes: Stoneware bean pot 6" high. Heavily potted. Buff body, covered with brown slip. The handle has a good thumb support. Cordon below the collar. On the shoulder two deep incised lines with two wavy lines between them. The slip on the cover is more red than that on the pot. Impressed on top of the cover is a heavy (mark - see image for details.) Purchased from Mrs. Bandy, Cayuga, Indiana, who though PA.
