From James Carley's notes: Stoneware storage jar. 14" high. Salt glaze but with much color variation. Cream, green, red, brown iron spots. The body is gray. The slip inside is ginger brown. An extremely elegant shape. A cordon below the neck. From Mrs. Bandy, Cayuga, Ind. This is supposed to have been made in Annapolis (H.R. Atcheson Pottery)
