Description
This letter from W. Zimmerman Jr., Assistant Commissioner of the U.S. Office of Indian Affairs, to U.S. Representative Usher L. Burdick, dated March 19, 1935, addresses the employment record and re-employment prospects of Mrs. Olive LeMoure of Fort Yates, North Dakota. She lacks the "one-quarter Indian blood preference classification" and "special training," which limits her eligibility. Zimmerman informs Burdick that while her case will be referred to local superintendents, only temporary or irregular work may be possible.
