Description

This handwritten letter, dated April 24, 1956, from Richard Grinnell of Raub, North Dakota on the Fort Berthold Reservation, to United States (US) Representative Usher Burdick, appears to be part of a letter-writing campaign in support of US Senate Bill 2151 (S. 2151) and per capita payments. Grinnell says that he needs the money right away. About half a dozen similar letters were in Burdick's files.
