Description
This handwritten letter, dated April 23, 1956, from Alice Mary McElroy of Elbowoods, North Dakota to United States (US) Representative Usher Burdick appears to be part of a letter-writing campaign in support of US Senate Bill 2151 (S. 2151) and per capita payments. McElroy says that she is in favor of the earliest possible passage of the bill as it will be most useful in early summer. About half a dozen similar letters were in Burdick's files.
