Description
This letter, dated April 9, 1956, from William Dean, Treasurer of the Tribal Business Council of the Three Affiliated Tribes of Fort Berthold of North Dakota, to United States (US) Representative Usher Burdick, requests that Burdick see that the per capita payment bill is advanced with no amendments. Dean writes that the tribes have over 50 delinquent accounts, and he is worried that an amendment to the bill will impact the tribe's ability to settle these debts.
