Description
This telegram, dated June 27, 1955, from Three Affiliated Tribes Tribal Chairperson Martin Cross to United States (US) Representative Usher Burdick informs Burdick that Ralph M. Shane, Superintendent of the Fort Berthold Indian Agency has resigned due to "critical conditions." Cross requests Burdick's assistance to the tribal council in selecting an endorsement for a new superintendent.
