Description
This telegram, dated February 16, 1955, from Three Affiliated Tribes Tribal Chairperson Martin Cross to United States (US) Representative Usher Burdick informs Burdick that an unauthorized group of delegates is headed to Washington, D.C. and they do not represent the Tribal Council nor are they authorized to conduct Tribal Business. This group consists of Carl Whitman, Jr. and Ben Young Bird.
