Description
Dr. Carleton Green and Phillips P. Moulton greet students during the Wesley College registration. Dr. Green was on the faculty at Wesley College from 1961 to 1970. He was an associate professor of religion and also served as the director of the Wesley Foundation. In 1983, Dr. Green and Reverend Sheffield co-wrote the Wesley Center of Religion departmental history. Moulton was the acting president of Wesley College from the 1960-61 school year up until the 1962-63 school year. He would later become the academic dean for Wesley College and continue teaching courses in religion.
Wesley College (later Wesley Center of Religion) was a Methodist institution located at and affiliated with UND. It provided primarily music and religious courses and housing for students enrolled in both institutions.
