Description

President John F. Kennedy exits the Army One helicopter arriving at UND. Behind him are Senator Quentin Burdick and Governor William Guy. A military officer salutes the President while a Secret Service Agent looks over the scene. President Kennedy spoke to nearly 20,000 people in the UND Fieldhouse on September 25, 1963 regarding conservation in America as well as in North Dakota.
