Five demonstrators including: Dr. Ronald Barnes, shown here on the left, Lee Hammon on the right; and Tom Davidson 2nd from right, stage a sit-in on the 2nd floor of the Memorial Union. They are protesting the presence of the armed forces recruiters on campus. Three uniformed Grand Forks police officers ended the protest peacefully. (Information from Dakota Student, March 15, 1968).
