Description
Pictured are Fawcett (Right Halfback), Wells (Left Halfback), Peterson (Fullback), Paris (Quarterback), Cormy (Right End), Burtness (Right Tackle), Dewesse (Right Guard), Williams (Center), Swenseid (Left Guard), Gill (Left Tackle), Nelson (Left End). The players are practicing a play with the center holding the ball. In the right corner is a horse pulling a carriage with two people in it. The 1905 team, coached by George J. Sweetland, won six games, tied North Dakota Agricultural College 11-11, defeated North Dakota Agricultural College 23-5, and lost to Minnesota 45-0. In 1905 there was controversy regarding the alleged ineligibility of two University players.
