Description

Two horses are pulling a wagon with a cover that has glass windows along the side and a door which is open on the backside. A man stands alongside and a driver is leading the horses. In the right background is a building. The bus is driving on a wood driveway and the left front wheel has fallen into a hole. The University bus made a round trip to town each morning and evening, depending on the snow or mud on Broadway (later renamed University Avenue). The fare was five cents and the 16-passenger bus frequently carried twice that number.
