Description

Two horses are pulling the "Black Maria" a wagon with black curtains. A man stands on the left side and a driver sits in the wagon with a lap blanket and holds the horses' reins. The ground is covered with a light dusting of snow and some dirt is showing through. In the back left corner is Macnie Hall. This was the first attempt by the University to provide transportation for students. It was called "Black Maria" because of its black curtains.
